CLEMSON– The Clemson football team suffered yet another transfer Friday, as senior defensive back Korrin Wiggins announced that he will be leaving the Tiger’s program to play his senior year elsewhere.
Wiggins becomes the fourth player to announce his intentions to play elsewhere following the school’s national title victory–joining cornerback Adrian Baker, Scott Pagano and Jake Fruhmorgen.
Wiggins served as the Tigers’ primary starter at nickel in 2014 before suffering a season-ending ACL injury in August of 2015.
Last season, Wiggins amassed 13 tackles in 194 snaps over seven games (one start).
For his career, he had 67 tackles, four tackles for loss, four interceptions, four quarterback pressures and seven pass breakups in 1,007 snaps over 32 games and seven starts.
